That is not the position they are taking.


MA electrical code amendment

So if there is only 1 lighting outlet in a area then as per written one can extrapolate that it must not be GFCI or you need two lighting outlets on separate GFCI.
A receptacle is not a lighting outlet.


What Boobs in that state.

Now you got it. If it is just one lighting outlet snag the power from the hall lighting circuit. Its not rocket science.:D

If there where two lighting outlets both could be on GFCIs.

A receptacle is not a lighting outlet.
