WE ARE DESIGNING A 13800V PRI WITH 240 V DELTA SEC
SERVICE AT 3000A FOR RESEARCH FACILITY, DOES THIS REQUIRE A GFI PROTECTED MAIN BREAKER, IF SO HOW DOES IT REFERENCE THE NODE.

Re: GFI PROTECTION ???

The requirement in 240.13 is for solidly grounded wye electrical systems of more than 150 volts to ground. It looks to me like your delta system would be exempt from the ground fault requirement. Although I still don't node exactly what node you are refering to.

Just out of curiosity, why are they asking for a delta service ?

By the way, you might want to turn your caps lock off. It's considered as SHOUTING at us. :D
