Does code require a disposal to be on a GFI in a Commercial application

Is this direct wired or plug in and which code cycle. If it is direct wired dishwasher then you do not need gfci

210.8B would require a GFCI for your application, if the disposal is in a kitchen, for a 15-20 receptacle

No receptacle = no GFCI requirement.

doh, oh well same applies-- onlt the receptacle needs gfci
