Hi again,
Sorry for these posts so close together, I just have a few different things going on at once.
I have a customer wanting to light up an area where he stores propane tanks. This area is just a bit out of reach of the security flood lights from the side of the building. He wants something just enough so someone driving by or coming into work early in the morning could see if someone was messing around. Basically more security. We spoke about running pipe all the way through this plant then outside to two pole lights. It would be about 300'-400' away from the switchgear to run conduit.
Once I got home and thinking more about the install, I was wondering if a solar pole light or two would be the way to go. As far as being cheaper with less labor involved and would provide the type of security lighting he would need.
Have you guys ever used solar parking lot lights? What are your thoughts and/or opinions?
