Re: Gounding Screw

And I thought crazy glue was non-conductive.

Gee, I learn something new everyday. Now where do I find this Listed Crazy Glue? :D :D :D

Re: Gounding Screw

I'm proud of you guys. :D

I figure any thread about kitchen islands is good for at least 100 replies, but I sure wouldn't have thought you could drag out a discussion of the lowly green screw for 6 pages.

Re: Gounding Screw

Yes, this has been a long discussion. And I finally got up the courage to start reading it. I must admit I am disappointed that nobody has brought up the most important consideration, truly the key technical issue: Should the green ground screw go up or down? :D

Re: Gounding Screw

Charlie, I'm disappointed. I was hoping to have our island receptacle question "beat" this one, but now you're not helping.

edit: Oops, I guess now I'm not either

Then we would have to wrap the conductor the other way around the screw and that just looks weird. :D

Re: Gounding Screw

Oh, I don't know about that. Perhaps I'll make a few random comments on the other thread, then close them both. Anyone care to offer a bribe for having this one "win"? :D

Re: Gounding Screw

I've been watching this string of posts from a distance and discovered that this sting of post and enough "threads" per inch in it to qualify for use as a grounding screw except that the green has to be worked on.
