Ground fault breaker

The plantiffs lawyers would love for you to use an arc fault breaker, instead of a ground fault, that aside, are you having the same problem with all of the ground fault circuits? The twistlock covers are probally wheatherproof, but not water tight. Are they exposed to more than just overspray? Very little moisture inside them can trip the GFCI. Could be a manufacturing issue with the pump motors.

Just noticed that the loads were 8 amps each, is this a 15 amp breaker? The startup load may be cutting it close, you may check that also, could be the OC protection tripping instead of the ground fault.

2 pumps are about 5 feet away and the other 2 pumps are 15 feet away. The circuit is ran with 12/3 SO cord with weatherproof twist locks. Yes I'm electrician, been in business for 35 years and work out in the field everyday. Also licensed in St Louis city and county.

Hang on what happened to direct wired ?
