Ground Fault protection

A contractor has a 1600A, 277V/480V, 3 phase , 4 wire service. I am putting a ground fault protection as required. Is ground fault indication (light, alarm, etc.) also required to be provided? If so, when in the code is it listed?

A separate alarm/indication is not required.

Typically most newer GFP systems will have indication on the control panel or incorporated into the relay, that can be door/panel mounted.
