After reviewing 250.24(A) through (D) I see NOTHING that says the neutral should be tied to earth ground except at the main panel. Would you agree??
The rule in the 2020, found in 250.25(A) tells you that you treat the supply side disconnect just like a service disconnect.
In the 2023 code, these supply side disconnect will actually be called "service disconnects".
250.25(A) Grounded System.
If the utility supply system is grounded, the grounding of systems permitted to be connected on the supply side of the service disconnect and are installed in one or more separate enclosures from the service equipment enclosure shall comply with the requirements of 250.24(A) through (D).

Thanks for all the information. Very helpful. I do not install any of these systems so this is an opportunity to learn.
Thank you
