Hi all,

I am in the process of upgrading my 100 amp service entrance panel to 200 amps. From what I've read I need to run #4 copper wire from the two ground rods that I will install to the panel. There is also an existing #6 wire going from the old panel to the incoming water pipe that is about 30 feet from the panel.

My question is do I need to replace that #6 wire with the #4 that I am using for the ground rods.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy
