If you are going to continue to ask us questions of this nature, I must ask you to start including some information related to your own attempts to answer the question yourself. We can help you learn, and most members are willing to do so. But we generally don't like to give away answers to people who do not make an effort to find the answer first.

So as Dennis said, how did you come to the conclusion that a 2/0 is the right size? Please note that whenever you speak of sizing conductors, you need to make it clear whether you are talking about copper or aluminum conductors.

Take a look at table 250.66. Find the size of the service entrance conductors and the table will give you the appropriate GEC conductor size.

What about the code book? Are you saying you don't have one? If that is the case, it would be hard for us to help you. I can say, "Look in Table 310.16 and then in Table 250.66," and it will not be useful.

Or are you saying that you did indeed look in the code book, and somehow came up with a size of 2/0? If that is the case, then please give us a word or two on where you looked, and what you found, and why you concluded that 2/0 is the correct size.

Along with what Charlie pointed out let me add there is no such thing as 'ground' to the NEC.

If you need an accurate answer you need to think like the NEC is written.

When you said ground did you mean....

The Grounding Electrode Conductor (GEC)

or

The Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC)
