Grounding a long run RV panel

My situation: 30 amp, 120/240v RV panel like this. Feed from a 30amp single pole breaker, in 200amp main distribution panel (panel is under the meter box, panel has ground and neutral bonded, panel has 200 amp main disconnect breaker), about 350 feet away with #1awg copper conductor and neutral, and #6 copper ground wire, through 1.5" sch. 40pvc
My Question: Should I treat this RV panel as a sub-panel; isolating the neutral and tying the ground to a ground rod? If not, why? Otherwise I would just get a receptacle without the breaker and wire it like an outlet. It just seems a long way to go for that ground wire back to the main.
