We have a PLFA cable passing through a Class1 Div1 area. It is installed in RMC to meet NEC 501 with boundary seals. Does the conduit have to be grounded?

be required tobe connected to the equipment grounding
conductor wherethese enclosures or wiring methods comply
with (1) through(4) as follows:

(1) Do notprovide an equipment ground

(2) Are in runsof less than 7.5 m (25 ft)

(3) Are freefrom probable contact with ground, grounded

be connected tothe equipment grounding conductor.

Exception No. 3:A metal elbow shall not be required to be
connected to theequipment grounding conductor where it
is installed ina run of nonmetallic raceway and is isolated
