Grounding & Bonding w/SE Rated ATS in front of MDP

If we add a Service Entrance rated transfer switch in front of the current MDP (first point), is it permissible to remove the bond at the ATS and leave the bonding in the existing MDP?

So we would have the load side of the meter going to the ATS, meter grd to ufer. Equipment grounds between ATS and MDP and ATS and generator. Load Side of ATS to MDP.

Acceptable? Historically, we have treated the MDP as a sub after installing the ATS, but I sure would like to avoid separating the G&N in the MDP.

Once you add a service rated ats the MDP becomes a sub panel and the equipment grounding conductor and the neutrals must be separated. Where is the grounding electrode conductor from the building landed. That must also be at the service.

Once Dennis has spoken there is no need for a second opinion :D, but in case you want one............ I agree with Dennis on all points.

GEC is currently landed at the MC.

Bond and Ground the ATS, remove the bonding screw at the MDP and separate the grounds and neutrals in the MDP.

Could an extended service concept play here?
