Grounding bushings

When do I need to use a grounding bushing? Also, I found a really nice grounding bushing product that doesn't require it to be threaded on. It's anchored with a set screw so the ground connection can be oriented in a much better spot. Thank you in advance and I'm really enjoying this forum.
