Grounding dry type 120/208–277/480v transformers

Have an inspector that says you must use grounding type bushing on conduits entering transformer.
is this a new code requirement I’m not aware of because I have always used plastic bushings

Unless there are concentric or eccentric KO's and it's over 250 volts to ground they are not required. The GEC in a metal raceway is a different story.
