grounding in two gang box!

I've looked in the NEC and trying to find a "shall" or a "must", regarding what to do in a case of: If there's a 14/2 pwr, 14/2 switch leg for a sink lite, and 2 12/2 for counter plug. Before I twist and crimp my grounds, which do I leave out for the devices #14 ground for the light and a #12 ground for the plug, or both #14 or both #12.
The code is vague, or I'm not looking at the right place

If the other conductors to the device are 14 AWG the EGC will have to be 14 AWG minimum.

If the other conductors to the device are 12 AWG the EGC will have to be 12 AWG minimum.

The EGCs can always be larger.

I would venture to say either a #12 for both devices, or one of each, whichever is easier. The receptacle should have a #12 EGC, and the switch could have either size.
