Grounding of a carriage

I'm sure this question has come up before, But I can't seem to find any threads about it.
Anyway, I have a 40HP motor mounted on a carriage. The carriage moves along a beam on bearings.
What is the grounding requirement?
Do I need a separate EGC from the carriage to the beam, or since the motor frame is secured to the steel carriage, will the motor cable ground be sufficient?

Thanks,
Doug :-?

Thank you,
I believe that answered my question.
The classification will work, It isn't exactly a hoist, but a drill motor mounted to a trolley with precision bearings.
I assumed that since all of the equipment on the carriage is "metallically" connected, and also that the drill motor itself is the largest current carrying device on the carriage, then the motor's EGC will suffice for the whole carriage. :)
