As a matter of fact I did I always do. I did not google him though I knew MD would do that.

I am glad he was not my electrical (instructor). I believe all I enter into profiles but sometimes am skeptical about others. I guess I better go talk to my shrink. I'm apparently having some thinking problems.

Sorry having a bad day! My apologies.

You need to ground as if it is a feeder! 250.32.

250.32 Buildings or Structures Supplied by Feeder(s) or
Branch Circuit(s).
(A) Grounding Electrode. Building(s) or structure(s) supplied
by feeder(s) or branch circuit(s) shall have a grounding
electrode or grounding electrode system installed in
accordance with 250.50. The grounding electrode conductor(
s) shall be connected in accordance with 250.32(B) or
(C). Where there is no existing grounding electrode, the
grounding electrode(s) required in 250.50 shall be installed.

There is an excellent graphic on this subject here on this site. Just search and you will find it or someone else can probably give you the link. I can't seem to find it at this time. If you pm me I can email it to you as I have it on my hd.

With no more information given how do you know it can't be grounded as if it were a service?

You got me I guess I haven't seen any barns attached to houses here in texas. What is he going to his barn from? I was agreeing with you just supplying the text from the NEC.
