is there anything in the 2008 code that tells me how FAR a groud rod may be from the disconnt. or house ????????

and when sizing the wire for the ground rod i know no more than a #6

but if i go smaller then that should i use table 250.122 ?????

I believe distance is not specified.

GEC size for ground rods is determined by 250.66(A) and T250.66, not 250.122 for EGC.
