I'm looking at the Eaton 1MM, 4 meter stack.
I haven't done one in a minute, I understood that there is a common connection point for the utility feed on the bussing, that all 4 meters are attached to. Basically the same set up as a single meter main, but common bussing that 4 meters attach to.
I can't find any wiring info or pictures on the inter webs, but the PG&E rep called me the other day and said he thinks we need a disconnect before the meter stack, because "there is no place to land the utility feeder" in that stack.
That doesn't make sense to me, because whether you have a disco ahead of the meter stack or not, you still need to land the feeders. Unless he's saying that it gets split after the disco into 4 individual feeders to each meter, but I don't think that's how they are made.
I'll call my rep at the supply house Monday, but it's chewing on my mind right now.
