Can someone explain the math when hanging 3/4 conduit on uni strut to get equal spacing between
Example if my first 90 is at 5 feet where do I mark the 90 on the second and third and so forth

Just add (or subtract) the desired center-to-center spacing to (or from) the 5' measurement.

Need a better explanation. I don't understand the question.
So I'm hanging 3/4 conduit and I'm going around a corner with a 90 which was at 5 feet i want to know if I'm using 5/8 space in-between conduits where do I mark for the second and third 90s I have coming around the same corner on the same uni strut to get equal spacing between them for the entire run

Well, if you consider the 3/4" EMT to be 1" and you want 5/8" between them, add or subtract 1-5/8".

So, if EMT #1 is cut or bent to be at 5', then EMT #2 would need to be cut or bent to be 1-5/8" longer, #3 would need to be 3-1/4" longer, #4 would need to be 4-7/8" longer, etc.

Width of the conduit+width of the space. So for 3/4 EMT, first elbow 5' long, 1" space, 1" tubing width, second elbow 5'2" on the outside of the first.

If I understand correctly.
If the back of your first 90 is 5'
You want 5/8" spacing( distance between the two pipes).
You add 5/8 to the OD of the pipe.
Let say the 3/4 is 1" OD
Your second pipe would be marked at 61-3/4 and so on. If all was 3/4".
EMT, would be 60"-6" = 54" for arrow bend.
Then next pipe would be 54"+1-5/8 or 55-5/8 and so on.
Using star, put star on 5' mark. Then second pipe mark 61-5/8 and use star and so on

I would use star since all bend are longer than 5' and your legs are getting shorter.

If bending other than EMT or using other than hand bender use end of shoe number for first and add spacing plus OD of pipe to next bend mark and so on.

I like to use whole numbers in this case as an example a plus 2 or 60+2=62, 62+2= 64. So plus two for how many how have. This way what ever you do on fist it's plus 2 for the next and so on.

So wouldn't it be 61 and 5/8 not 61 and 3/4 ?
