I’m working on a project and have done well finding most of the tables and codes needed, but the panel info in a little unsure of. It’s 3 motors I need to provide a panel for. A 15 HP, 460vac 3 phase motor with an FLA of 17.3 and the FLC is 21. The other two motors are 40 HP, 460vac, FLA 48, FLC 52. Any help is appreciated. I need the following:
Panel size
Short circuit duty
Panel Ampacity
Main Breaker Size Protection

Based on 430.52 and taking inrush into account my first thought would be a 200 amp panel.
Are the motors across-the-line or controlled by a drive ?

Let's look at the sheet provided.
We must base our ansawers on this sheet.
Line 1: what size of panel( trade size)?
Line 2: what size main breaker?
What two options did it provide you?
Also please write down your answers and you do them.
Then provide an answer to the question on the sheet.

So I would like to see;
#1 your ansawer to the motors ampacity.
#2, your ansawer to question 1 of sheet.
#3 your ansawer to question 2 of sheet.

Have you ever took one of those test that said do nothing until you have read the entire sheet. Hint *
