Cable in conduit has also made its way into the code.
and you can get it with some sort of teflon like slick coating on the inside, where the inside of the pipe is like that sim-pull crap from southwire. Used some innerduct with that coating inside and the cable flew through it.
(COW?) How about rope ware through long swooping bends, on long pulls?
I too am considering using it to feed my barn, and see it as a big labor saver, but have no experience with it.

For the simple reason that you don't 'glue' PVC, rather you solvent-weld it. PVC solvent won't melt HDPE just like it won't melt ABS drain pipe.That "teflon like slick" is on the outside, too.
PVC glue will not stick to HDPE.
