220.82 (c) on multi fam. dwelling,the ?
what is the air-conditioning versus heat caulated load for a 25-unit multi fam.
building wher each unit has a heat pump where the compressor load is 17 a,230v and there is a total of 18 kva of elect. supplemental heat in each heat pump air-handler?
I'm looking at sub section 3 thinking 100% and then 65% for the remainder ,but this Holt book is showing me to add both together at 100% for each???

220.82 applies to a single dwelling unit, not to a multifamily dwelling.

Are you trying to determine the feeder load for each individual unit, or the service load for the entire 25 unit dwelling?

Using 220.82(C)(3) for the individual unit feeder, I'd say you'd take 100% of the heat pump compressor load plus 65% of the supplemental electric heat load.
