Heaters in a garage

What is the required height for a wall mounted or hanging heater in a garage? I believe it has to be a certain height but i can't find it in the code book

Are you asking this as it relates to a classified location, or just a general mechanical rule?

The there used to be a 6' minimum rule in the mechanical code, however that requirement has been removed.

I'm asking as it to classified location. I remember something about a heater has to be above a certain height because of gases or something.
