B bphgravity Senior Member Location Florida Dec 30, 2005 #2 Re: Heaters in a garage Are you asking this as it relates to a classified location, or just a general mechanical rule? The there used to be a 6' minimum rule in the mechanical code, however that requirement has been removed.
