Looks very nice indeed. re: making patch cords, dont. As you found out, the supply house has any length you need in 6-12" increments for cheap, field made cat5e/cat6 cables are inferior to them and arent worth the time to make up. Plus, patch cords are stranded wire whereas the house wiring is solid, and not all 8p8c plugs will work on both types. Field made coax patch cords otoh is a different story.

Based on some of the other pictures you've posted in another thread, given the views available on the back porch, I wouldn't waste my time watching TV there.
