Hey everyone:
My home had a strange entry mark where my ISP put it in in the past when they used to offer cable TV/ Now its just ISP but still coaxial. Problem being they seemed to have a weird location too far away from utilities. I noticed that I think they tried to ground by bonding longer cable through wall to kitchen sink water pipe under the cabinet. However when I got new garbage disposal installed in 2013 I think they disconnected it and it has not been grounded since then.
Problem is I got a sunroom installed in late 2014 being that area and it was not an ideal location to begin with and ground connection lost.
So ok I need to rerun coaxial in my house to location. My ISP can cable to new dmarc, but they have no clue where to ground it
So ok I took some pics of inside my electrical panel, a garage utility closet next to it and the corresponding outside wall to see what the best grounding electrode conductor to ground thee coxial cable grounding block to is
The home is built in 1971 and it is most likely a copper water pipe it is bonded to in garage utility closet
Here is the inside of my electrical panel:
Now here is inside utility closet in the garage right next to it
I think the wire that kind of looks tangling connected to a screw on metal casing of panel is ground wire going to copper water pipe
Now here are some pics of outside my house
As you can see I do not see any place to ground it on the meter.
Is the sprinkler system copper attachment water pipe an accpetable ground or do I need a wire run form inside to the houside to asttachj to grounding block.
What is actually my Grounding Electrode Conductor based on the pics.
