I an trying to decide which is the best way to go
I am trying to feed a IDF rack [computer equip] from the em generator
all of our near by panels [same room as the IDF]are 480/277 so if I want to feed say three 20 amp 120v recepticals should I install a small transformer and the recepticles from the 480 v panel . I have the same set up at two locations but they are 500 feet apart ie. opposite ends of the building or
should I install a 30 kva transformer in the middle with a 100 amp panel .250 feet
away from each IDF
lets pretend money is not an issue on this one
my concern is will the different transformers create problems for the computer net work system. thank you
