I thought the feeder ahead of the main would have been a factory installed conductor, but if field installed then I see - no problem.Why would a panelboard manufacturer have any real say in the length of a field installed feeder wire?
I understand it is resolved.
Just curious:
Are there provisions on one end of the two busbars to switch the lug/terminal that feeds it (I assume) to the other end? (threaded bolt hole, etc)
Result: the L1 and L2 bars are fed on the same end - instead of opposite ends.
I also assume one feeder wire (L1 or L2) would need to be replaced, spliced or magically stretched to reach the opposite end of the busbar it feeds.....:roll:
