Anyone ever had a problem putting 120 volt HID light fixtures on a GFI circuit?
I can't see where there would be a problem, but wanted to check first. I have some ground mounted HPS fixtures I'll be installing, and I am planning on putting them on the load side of a 20 amp. GFI recpt.
Also on a 250 wt. HPS, any idea other than the 250 wts. of the light, how much the ballast may pull? Would you just figure the wattage of the fixture for the load,or is there a calculation for the ballast also? Thanks for the help. Steve...

Should not have a problem with GFCI and you would use the ballast info not the bulb wattage.
