High leg marking

We call them halfbacks here, Florida is too hot for them, so they move halfway back to the mountains. If I had a dollar every time I’ve heard “that’s the way we do it up north” LOL!

Having moved from "up north" to Florida many years ago, I do see differences in how things are done here.

My favorite was when they used gray for the hi leg in a facility that has 4 other systems; 208Y120, 240/120 Delta, 480Y277 and some 120/240 single phase and some sort of 120 DC.
And the 480Y277 uses light 'natural gray' as a neutral.
If I am remembering correctly...

Just keep a good meter with ya is all I can say.
