Highest paid trade

I know it can vary on what your doing in the field. but on average, what do you think is the highest paid trade. In our area, the elevator mechanics are the highest I believe in our area, then plumbers/pipe fitters, then electricians.

I take that back. It would be the "oldest trade" :grin:

Boilermakers are top around here (Davis Bacon and Union) And believe me I think they are underpaid.

Here in SW Florida, it would either be GOLF INSTRUCTORS or BURMESE PYTHON WRANGLERS.

The construction trades are NOT paid well here, unless you consider sunshine and beach views a paid wage.

Most of the trades at the shipyard here pay decent. They actually pay 25 an hour for pressure washing and 35 to paint railings, etc.,.

Oil rig workers, and crab fisherman. Both can make a ton of money in a short period of time without much of an education. On the down side they die quite often.

As a craft, the lineman rule the roost for cash around here.

Too many friends haven't came back, so whatever they want for crab, I'm happy to pay the bill at the store.
