Ho t 12 lamps

How cold can it be and the t-12 ho lamps still light. Also can i use a t-12 ho ballast made for two 8' lamps on two 4' lamps ?

I don't believe you can use an 8' 2 tube ballast on a 4' fixture. Some ballast are multi use so you need to check the ballast info. It will also tell you temp.
