Just got done wiring a hot tub for a homeowner and with talking to him he said he had a rental property. The lady renting it keep tripping the outlet in the bathroom , the homeowner's fix was to take 1 leg of the dryer and run to the outlet. I am glad that there are some really good sparky's out there, he gives the word sparky the true meaning. Oh, the whole house is wired in alum.
 
It certainly wouldnt trip anymore look on the bright side she will be awake when the fire breaks out darwins theory of evolution. Survival of the dumbest.
 
Thank Goodness you came along! Wow! If I'm reading you right, the GFCI was bypassed with a 30 ampere conductor to feed the load side of the GFCI which is the hot tub. Unbelievable! :mad: :-?

Yes i sure did and the reply was i don't live there so i am not going to worry about it. I know it is a scary situation but he does not want to do anything about it. Hopefully after i talked with him he might change his mind to fix that situation.
