I have an assortment of SQ.D Arc Fault breakers. Some are the old blue test buttons, some are the newer green test buttons, and some are the even newer white test buttons. Are only the white test buttons combination type or were some of the others also rated combination type? Nowhere on the breakers themselves do they specify series, paralell, or combination. I would like to make use of them if I still can, and I dont know if the test button color even means anything.

My guess is the white ones are GFCI while the older ones (blue ones ) are not combo type. That leaves the greenies being the combo ones.

Here is a picture of one with a blue button -- the web site says discontinued-- none combo type

SqD had a recall on AFCI breakers a few years back, as I recall. Those were blue button. After the redesign, the color was changed to green. I think the white button would be combination AFCI.

That is correct. Also the GFCI breakers have yellow buttons.
