Hi all, I'm new here and have a couple questions about electrical cables in an attic.
1. Are branch circuits required to be in conduit of any sort when running through an attic? Be it a single dwelling unit or apartment?
2. Are primary wires from the pole required to be in conduit in an attic? Again, single dwelling or apartment?
I've looked through the NEC books that I have access to and cannot find anything about this, all the attics I've been in have the wires stapled to the joists.
