Gus,don is awfully sharp and he may have a point in his post #35 but, so far, I fail to see the problem. I had always thought the "parallel path" wording was such as to prevent your metallic conduit from carrying current along with your grounded conductor. I will have to spend some time to see the
"Parallel path" with the 480 system.
You will have a 480 volt EGC connection to the transformer case and the secondary will be bonded to the case. You will have bonding connection at the secondary disconnect in the building and there will be metallic paths to the primary EGC.
It is my opinion that any parallel path other than the earth is forbidden.
