Hospital Data Centers

Should hospital data centers as a rule be on Critical Branch or on Equipment branch.

I suppose it matters what the functionality of the data center is right. So let's assume this. That they have the hospitals communications system running through it and biomedical system running through it.

What do you think?

AHU's and such should definately not be on the critical branch.

I would prefer to give a data center its own transfer switch, and provide dedicated power. That way, its not a critical branch, so there is no life support on it, but you can specify that it gets the same seperation as the critical branch.
