HOSPITAL GRADE SWITCH

I was doing a job for new surgical center the inspector asked to Chang all switches to hospital grade switches no one carry them.I did not hear of such thing.
Do you know any thing about it.

I've never heard of hospital grade switches either. Commercial grade yes. There are hospital grade receptacles, what would be the purpose of a switch?

Another point- what inspector is this? If it is the electrical inspector for the AHJ ask them to provide the Code Article that requires this.

You are both right, there is no such thing as HG switches.
