I was looking at hot tub disconnect the other day and was looking at the type that had a 60 amp gfi and room for a couple other breakers. Basically a load center with a 60 amp GFI. Another electrician told me that inspectors are wanting a insulated ground ran all the way to the main panel if you use this style of box. I said you need to use insulated ground in conduit from hot tub to disconnect and disconnect to inside house. (outside install) but you could use cable with covered sheath to panel .(680-42C) I cant find reference where it has to be insulated all the way from hot tub to main panel because of using this style of box. Does anyone else know?
