I’m installing power for a hot tub that is set on pavers any suggestions on how to strap conduit to a paver? I don’t want to try and drill one and break it. Thank you

The hot tub will be on a patio about 3 feet from a flower bed. I will trench from the house to a disconnect in the flower bed, on the load side of the disconnect I will bury rigid conduit in the flower bed until I reach the patio then for the last 3 feet I will surface mount on the patio to the hot tub

I would think if the bricks don't have joints filled, hammer drill will break them. I'd try drill only unless there's a test brick laying around
Not if you use light pressure and let the impacts pulverize the brick. I often see too much pressure applied.

Woder if it would be helpful to try to drill in the corners of the joints

I would drill the middle. I have drill literally, hundreds of holes in brick with a small hammer drill. I have also used a standard drill but that will take forever.

Why strap to it? Cleanest look and no trip hazard put conduit under brick pavers by removing bricks in a section, lay in conduit, pop up under hot tub location, bury the conduit and reassemble the herringbone pattern of brick.

that would look best but some inspector will want 18" burial to the top of the conduit, fine dirt covering the conduit, maybe a foil or plastic ribbon stating danger high voltage and to top it off a tracer wire for easy future detection ..

But likely would have inspector having more issue with conduit on surface and only secured to "loosely fitted" brick (ie sand locked pavers), not to mention it being a tripping hazzard (picture looks like placement is in a pedestrian pathway). Marker ribbon only required on service conductors, not bad idea otherwise also, but not required.
Picture looks like he will be doing trenching anyway to get power out there, and the hand layed pavers come up easy enough and likely already have a sand bed. And may need to remove some anyway for EP Bonding unless the hot tub meets all the requirements of 680.42(B).

I think that picture was just inserted by James and is not the OP's picture.
