Hotel guestroom bathroom circuit

Are hotel guestroom's bathroom receptacles required to be on their own circuit? The guest room does not have any permanent provisions for cooking

look at it from a practical perspective.

hair dryers are often 1800W or so. do you really want to have that kind of load on any other circuit?

I agree, however I am involved in a renovation and the owner wnats to do the minimum work, supplying a dedicated circuit for the bathroom will require pulling a new circuit. I prefer the dedicated circuit.

A dedicated ckt. is not required by code in this case.
