No sweat, just a standard canned answer.

This one doesn't excite me much. I would have the same type of words if we were to talk about UL's sign listing program

If you hold the wire at the end and looping it, the correct looping is clockwise. However, if you are holding the end of the wire and looping the wire itself the correct looping is counter clockwise. The point is that the writer has never installed a receptacle.
This is really the issue. You can call the loop either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on whether you follow the wire from the end toward the insulation or from the insulation toward the end. Different directions for the same loop. The point in the P&S instructions are that they have a raised part that can hold the wire, so you can put the end against that and loop the wire around the screw, which would be in a counterclockwise manner. The wire would be clockwise going from the insulation to the end, so the screw tightens the loop, like any other. I don't use that feature; I make the loop before putting it on the screw.

Pierre,
(B) Installation and Use. Listed or labeled equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling ."

Don
By your post do you mean to say that the installation instructions included with the device are not part of the listing or labeling?
Yes, that is exactly what I mean to say.

Witnesses from the ground reported clockwise rotation. Witnesses inside the building reported counter-clockwise rotation. :p
