How far from floor to circuit panel box

Hello mike and crew.
I have just one question
What is the distance required from the floor to the circuit panel box in an LC application. I have forgotton.
Does anyone happen to have the code for reference as well.

Depends on the type and brand of LC you are installing. [404.8] Center of top most handle to floor= 79" max.

As far as the NEC is concerned the panel can sit on the floor unless it's a mobile home then the service has a 24" minimum height if I remember correctly.

A lot of commercial work this is the case. The cans are so much longer you have to near about sit panel on floor to keep the main accessable.Which I guess this is nec's concern.
 
actually the NEC concern is that NO breaker be higher than the 79 inch max. means that you cant just locate the main on the bottom with breakers above it that are over the max height.
 
I have found that if you install a panel of the floor of a garage the inspector wants it to be higher because of the building flood zone. this is in residential of course.
