How long do you warrant your labor?

How do you handle materials that are warranted by the manufacturer that fail early? Example a motion detector that fails in a short time.

If material fails but the labor installation was not at fault do you charge again for labor but replace the part?

Do you have a high failure rate on the Intermatic SS8 Digital wall timers too?

I warranty labor from 12-months of final inspection or 15-months from substantial completion.

If I supply material, the labor is covered under warranty. That's part of the markup of the material.

Replace the part and take the bad one back for credit.

Yes. My labor wasn't defective.
