And just how long does it take your Harley to get 'warm enough' ?

How many forums are you a registered user on?
And: How do we all find time for them?
EDIT: I've added a poll for this thread.

Nice poll BackIn,

I too, have wondered about the forum time available to a working man. A postee on another forum replied to me "time management" is the answer.

Always thought I was very good at time management, but I had little time left after my 6/10 hour days. We cannot manage what we don't have.

My conclusion to this conundrum is:

1 - you have a ghost writer
2 - no life
3 - you made your money early on, and coasting now
4 - a little fibbing going on here . . .

Here and the DIY forum for tips on plumbing, carpentry and the like. I also like reading some of the scary questions people pose in the electrical section.

My state has no licensing so I make the time to be here. I consider it CE for me. Plus its darn handy when you run into something your not 100% sure on.

OK here's the scoop.

Cat slips into the center of this huge dogbed and plops down for a nap. Constantly. Frizbeedog (aka Emily) stares in disbelief, sighs, and chooses a spot next to the bed to crash, but not on it. I think if cat had frisbee, then cat can have frisbee in this pecking order.

I usually toss the cat off the bed just to show the cat who's boss.

.....but it ain't working none too good.

The saying goes "cats and women will do as they please, men and dogs will have to get used to the idea."

I am registered on three forums, but the other two are related to photography. I have about 650 posts on one of the photography forums, and am only a casual reader on the other.

The funny thing is I am registered on about four or five electrical forums. All the others I belong to have been referenced on this site by other posters so I checked them out. This is the forum I perfer it seems to have alot more useful information as well as some comical back and forth thrown in.

Total posts is probally about 200(not a hugh #). I read more than I post

Be a sport, use the same name everywhere.

Off the top of my head: MikeHolt, FullSizeChevy, GMfullSize, GM-Trucks, DiscoveryChannel, ID-Discussions, Tek-Tips, TechComedy

Honesty I spend the most time here, purely for entertainment reasons. I lurk in a few others like PowerLineman and Sundance-Communications, but haven't yet found the need to post, ergo haven't registered.

Or at least one close enough so folks know who you are.

Even worse in my mind is multiple user names on the same forum.

I have little respect for people who post on the same board under multiple user names for reasons other then they forgot their passwords,

As long as they keep the password rules simple. One site I belong too requires some caps letters at least 3 small case , and at least 4 numbers, if the site does not think it is secure enough it recommends changes. I am a simpleton and need to KIS cause I am S
