Im not trying to discourage you or berate you either but sometimes we need to face facts , perhaps the line of work your in does not give you the exposure to the construction side of electrical work that journeyman testing is geared for , if I were asked to troubleshoot digital equipment and programmable logic controls in the morning I would be lost and get a swift kick in the pants for even trying.
I would bet that the testing you are taking is quite different than what you normally do everyday for a living and that is what complicates things for you.
I agree on this, I took the Journeymans 8 times before I passed in SC! I'm industrial so I didn't have a clue on pools, service, ETC. So I just kept studying my weak points, which I have never had any field practice for, and as 77401 says, a little help from something to help you concentrate...... I had a Lortab (had just been to the dentist) on the day I actually passed....Took another Saturday when I went for the master's exam made everything calm down so I could concentrate!
But seriously, DON'T get frustrated, you will pass if you keep studying and reading things here. It is hard (at least the SC exam) for people that don't do "housework". because if you don't use it you don't know it. Also if it is Thomsan Prometric and you are taking the 2005 get a guide to changes to the 2005 because a lot of the changes were asked on the test.
