I was trying to avoid a possible trick question.

Exactly, the trick is to bury the PVC and rack the EMT on strut.

I'd want to know how you're installing it? Pvc straps? Strut with slip fit strut straps? Wall type? Am I using a cordless rotohammer or driving screws into wood?

I hate outside horizontal runs of pvc above ground. I avoid it almost at all costs. By the time you spend all the time and money to do it to code above ground, it still ends up turning purple and sagging between straps, until the straps break(pvc type) and then it looks like crap. I'd rather have our shopguy or the customer dig a ditch and then bury it.
