A three pole disconnect with no locknut on the conduit stub out?

I'm guessing you're referring to the switched EGC?

Some 1 phase elevators use a 3 pole diconect the GC on one pole it has something to do with keepin emergencey power off with the disco off

Well first off, the EGC needs to be bonded to the enclosure. But, that's easy.

OK, here is a clue:

This is for a typical air conditioning condernser unit. This could be allowed for other types of equipment but usually not condensing units.

Did you exspect to find fuses? Just guessing. :confused:

FWIW, I know you said that the Green is the EGC, but I have seen lots of old installations that used Green as an ungrounded conductor.
